We use high-quality building materials that are energy-efficient and durable. These materials include concrete, steel, timber, and eco-friendly options such as bamboo and recycled materials. The true benefit of building a custom home is that we are able to build your dreamhome with great consideration for your vision and budget. 

We do not provide financing options directly, but we work with reputable lenders who offer a variety of financing options for our clients. If you are interested in building and need help with financing, please reach out so we can put you in touch with one of our preferred lenders. 

We encourage our clients to be as involved as they would like to be in the building process. We provide regular updates and consultations to ensure our clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their project.

 The timeline varies depending on the size, complexity, and customization of the home. On average, it can take anywhere from 6 months to over a year for construction. The permit process and pre-construction can take two months or longer to complete. 

We work hard to maintain schedules and budgets when building a home. There are times when opportunities present themselves that will require a change in scope, budget, schedule, etc. We will be transparent during these times so it is a collaborative solution as one-size-fits-all approaches do not work for all stakeholders. 

We offer a one-year warranty on every custom home that we build. We follow and adhere to the National Association of Homebuilders Residential Construction Performance Guidelines. 

We have interviewed and onboarded each trade partner that we work with to ensure a smooth build and that our quality standard is achieved. We are not able to hire outside of the trades we have vetted and we would be willing to interview your chosen individuals to see if there is a mutual fit. 

The construction of a new home is a collaborative journey at McMahon Custom Homes. We want you to be a part of each stage and will include you in weekly communication. We encourage clients to walk the project with us, and only with us as a construction site is not a safe place and we want to ensure you are protected whenever you come on site. We send a weekly buyer update and share pictures throughout the week to keep you informed. 

We believe all homes should be built with a focus on energy efficiency. Each of our homes is built with 2x6 exterior walls for increased insulation. We air-seal the entire house before insulating to ensure the home is air tight. We install a R-49 blown in insulation in the attic.
